Paying It Forward 2010

The whole family and my GEMS Technologies team spent Christmas this year by giving gifts to less fortunate families back in our hometown in Initao, Misamis Oriental. These are families of "sikad" and tricycle drivers who don't have something to put on their table for the Noche Buena.

We didn't give much - just rice, noodles, and canned goods - but we wanted to give love, hope, and inspiration to these families on Christmas in our own little way...

That no matter how bleak the situation may be, no matter how down we are, no matter how hopeless things may look, there's Someone Up there looking after us..
Just go on living because life itself is a blessing.

No, we're not rich, we're not wealthy - far from it.

But we are BLESSED to be a BLESSING to others...

Thanks to oDesk - we could not have done this had I not found oDesk to be a viable source of income for all of us here - my brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews.. We could not have earned enough to share a portion of it to others.

Many thanks to Robert Armstrong and everyone at the Academy  for the generous gift - because of it we have made a hundred more families happy.

And above all, Thank You, God, for entrusting us this gift and for everything that You have given us. To You, we give back all the glory. May You continue to bless us so we can go on doing this for many Christmases to come.
